"A Portrait in the Making."

as i shared with a dear friend and brother, so i will share with you blogspot world, whoever happens to stumble upon this, for no particular purpose other than to share it. here goes ...

"i have also had a crazy summer! a whole bunch of different experiences, feelings, emotions, seasons ... it's like a canvas with a whole bunch of paint on it, during certain moments, the different colors don't seem to blend too well, but in looking back in retrospect, all the colors blend evenly and create a very balanced portrait in the making ...

one thing i have come to realize just now, i make things complicated for me and God in my relationship with God ... it's a defense mechanism i have, even with God or even more so with God than with humans ... many times, i find God to be intimidating because of how He has been depicted to me in the past, by well meaning and well intentioned individuals. it has been quite the experience attempting to know God all by myself, attempting not to be tainted by the thoughts and opinions of others on how they see God, and not taking on their own impressions of God as my own."
