Was working on this just now, the trusty journal and the trusty pencil were great companions! I can't forget to mention Justin Young's song "Break it Down" (listen to it here: http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_8277366) - the musical and lyrical vibe of that song inspired the stuff that came out of me and got put down on paper.. I started out with two lines that came into my head (have never really let my hair down/truly let my soul shine) and then just kept it going from there ... I can kind of hear the musical vibe in my head, but not quite ... This is a rough draft. Hopefully, this song chronicles the growth that has taken place in my life over the last couple of years.
